Join the City of Turlock's MVP!

The City of Turlock's Municipal Volunteer Partnership Program (MVP) is designed to give students, adults and seniors insight to the City of Turlock's employment opportunities and even enhance educational/career goals. Hours will vary based upon the needs of the department and the availability of the volunteer.

What are the qualifications to become an intern/volunteer for the City of Turlock?

  • Willingness to meet new people and make new friends.
  • Flexibility. Keep an open mind.
  • Treat public, staff and other volunteers with courtesy and respect.
  • Consider volunteering as you would regular employment and behave accordingly.

What are the hours of operation?

Hours will vary based upon the needs of the department and the availability of the volunteer. However, the City of Turlock is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

How do I apply to become a potential candidate for the MVP?

Submit your application along with a copy of your resume and a list of references to the City of Turlock Human Relations Department. A representative from Human Relations will contact you to schedule an interview based on your area of interest.
