Through the years, the Turlock community has valued neighborhoods, natural places where they can relax, walk, recreate and enjoy family time. Through quality programing and implementation, Recreation Services provides safe, supervised activities residents of all ages.

Families and individuals of all ages have the opportunity to enhance their lives by participating in Fitness programs, Sports activities, Family Events, Community Traditions, Arts, Social and Educational Activities and a wide range of enrichment classes.

On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, City Offices, including the Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities Department will be closed in observation of a National Day of Mourning for former President George H.W. Bush, as declared by President Donald Trump.

Public Safety and other essential City services, including our leaf pick up crew will remain unaffected and will function as normal.

Due to the extremely low air quality resulting from the wildfires, the City of Turlock will be postponing the 44th Annual Turkey Trot scheduled for this Saturday, November 17, 2018. Instead, the event will be held on Saturday December 8, 2018 at Donnelly Park beginning at 9 AM. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding of the situation. Thank you.
