Animal Services
The Animal Services Unit works diligently to serve the public and animals of the City of Turlock in a professional and efficient manner with kindness and compassion. The staff is dedicated to providing education, protection, and the humane treatment of animals in order to insure a safe and healthy community and to promote the benefits of responsible pet ownership.

The Animal Shelter is located at 801 S. Walnut. You can reach us by phone at (209) 656-3140 during normal business hours (Tuesday - Saturday 9:30AM - 3:30PM (Closed Holidays)), or by email at animalservices@turlock.ca.us.

For emergencies regarding aggressive, sick or injured animals, please call the Turlock Police Department at (209) 668-1200.
