Effective Monday, May 20th, and continuing until further notice, customer service hours for Development Services (Building, Engineering, Planning, and Transit Divisions), as well as the Housing Division, will be Monday-Friday (12pm-5pm).

Individuals that call or visit outside of these hours will have an opportunity to leave a message, which will be returned when offices re-open.

This change is being made to improve the Department’s ability to accomplish its mission with limited resources. It will provide City staff the ability to work uninterrupted during morning hours processing permits, reviewing plans, and working on projects, while still providing an opportunity for public interaction and support during afternoon hours.

If you have questions or concerns regarding this change, please contact the Engineering Division at (209) 668-5520.
