CITY MANAGER, ASSISTANT
DEFINITIONUnder administrative direction of the City Manager, assists in planning, organizing and directing the overall administrative activities and operations of the City; coordinates activities among and with other departments; provides staff assistance to the City Manager and City Council; acts as City Manager in his/her absence and serves as advisor and consultant to the City Manager and other Department Directors; represents City Manager with City staff, community organizations, other agencies, and the public; and performs related work as required.
