Officer Involved Shooting Update
On Thursday, December 16, 2021, at about 5:30 pm, an officer involved shooting occurred in the 600 block of High Street in Turlock. Following a multi-jurisdictional response and investigation, it appears there may have been only one suspect shooter involved.
Two individuals were located and taken into custody last night. One of the two individuals was interviewed and later released from custody.
The second individual, who is identified as Henry Moreno Arroyo, 40 years, resident of Turlock, was interviewed and was arrested. Arroyo sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and received medical treatment. He was later booked at the Stanislaus County Jail on attempt murder charges.
At this time, there is no indication that anyone else involved in this incident is outstanding.
