The California Department of Transportation is offering, through the California Construction Contracting Program (CCCP), free training, counseling, and resources in order to assist small businesses to successfully bid and win Caltrans and Local agency construction contracts.

New Public Works Contractor Registration Law [Senate Bill 854]

Beginning April 1, 2015, prime contractors and subcontractors bidding on public works projects will be required to be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Prime contractors and subcontractors will be required to submit certified payroll records to the Labor Commissioner using DIR's new data-driven electronic Certified Payroll Record (eCPR) reporting system. (DIR expects to have Phase I of this system deployed by early May of 2015. Contractors will be able input CPR data directly onto an online form or do a mass upload using an xml schema flat file).

Surface Water Distribution System Improvements

The Project consists of constructing a 2.3 million gallon concrete tank, 12 million gallon per day pump station and building, detention basin and storm water pump station, 12,000 linear feet of 16-inch to 54-inch diameter potable water pipeline and appurtenances, 2,500 linear feet of 15-inch storm drain pipeline and manholes, three pressure reducing valve vaults, pavement improvements, associated grading, structural mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment, and all work necessary to provide a complete and operational facility. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., local time on Wednesday June 16, 2021 through a video conference and a second pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., local time on Monday June 28, 2021 through a video conference. The pre-bid conference is mandatory and a bidder who fails to attend a pre-bid conference may be disqualified from bidding. Bidders only need to attend one pre-bid conference. Southeast Quadrant Road Rehabilitation

RWQCF Flotator No. 3 Recoating

Remove by abrasive blasting the existing coating system rake arms including, all piping, bridge, and decking. Apply new coating system to all floatator interior metal work with an approved high solids epoxy. An epoxy urethane system shall be used above the waterline. Project scope includes recoating a portion of the concrete effluent box. Mandatory pre-bid meetings will be held on June 1, 2021 at 9:00 AM and June 4, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Turlock Regional Water Quality Control Facility, 901 S. Walnut Road, Turlock, CA 95380. Only prime contractors who intend to bid on the project are required to attend one of the available pre-bid meetings.
