Report A Crime What type of crime are you reporting? This site allows you to file a non-emergency police report. After completing the report the system will give it an ID number and a copy will be forwarded back to your e-mail address. A valid form of identification and an email address are required to complete the report. Fraud/Forgery To deceive intentionally through altering the truth and/or document that causes someone to be deceived or defrauded. Example: Check fraud, forgery, signing another's name, credit card fraud, altering a document. Harassing Phone Calls Unsolicited phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature. If valid restraining order in place, contact 209-668-1200. Example: Immediate hang-ups, obscene language, etc with NO known suspect. Identity Theft When someone uses your name, your driver's license, your social security number to obtain goods, open credit card or other types of accounts or services. Example: Someone steals your personal information thru the internet and opens credit card accounts. Someone opened up an account with Charter television. Lost Property Property that is missing or lost. Example: Property is missing, left in a shopping cart, or missing from your residence. Theft of property Property unlawfully taken or stolen (sometimes called a Larceny theft). Example: Theft or a bicycle, purse, plants from front yard, lawnmower from backyard. Theft from a locked or unlocked vehicle Property unlawfully taken from a locked or unlocked motor vehicle. Example: Stolen stereo, cd player, tools, laptop computer, etc Theft from a storage unit Theft from a detached garage or separate storage unit. The entry is either forced or unlawful entry. No suspects. Example: Theft from a tool shed or detached garage. Theft from unlocked garage Theft from a garage attached to a residence. Either the large garage door was open or entry was made thru the opened side door. No Suspects, No entry into the house. Example: Fitness equipment was taken from an open garage door. Vandalism The willful or malicious act of defacing, changing or damaging any public or private property. Example: Knocking over mail boxes, slashing tires, etc. Miscellaneous Any other type of incident or ciminal activity you wish to report. Continue
