Parking Tickets

The City of Turlock has outsourced the management of its parking citations to the City of Inglewood. The City of Inglewood has numerous agreements with California cities and other public agencies to provide parking citation processing services.

Information on how to pay the parking penalty is located on the back of your parking citation. You must pay the parking penalty within twenty-one (21) days from the date the citation was issued. Failure to pay the penalties due will result in additional penalties being added and the possible withholding of your vehicle registration by the Department of Motor Vehicles CVC 4760. Vehicles with five or more outstanding citations may be subject to immobilization (booting) or impoundment CVC 22651.7, 22651(i) (l). In addition, you may be subject to a civil judgment that could lead to the garnishment of wages and seizure of property CVC 40220.

PAYMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT THE TURLOCK POLICE DEPARTMENT.

To pay the penalty, please use the self addressed envelope provided with the parking citation. The penalty will be forfeited and no further proceedings may be held. DO NOT MAIL CASH. Please mail a check or money order to:

Turlock Police Department
Parking Enforcement Center
PO Box 57010
Irvine, CA 92619

Phone: 1-877-237-3076

Please write the citation number on the check or money order. Make it payable to the CITY OF TURLOCK. Please enclose the citation in the envelope. Your penalty can also be paid online at www.ptsonline.org. If you cannot locate your citation on the Online Parking Ticket payment site it may not have been downloaded to the site. If you just received your citation, you will not be able to pay online until the citation is downloaded to the site. This may take up to fourteen (14) days after your citation has been issued.

If you cannot locate you citation information on the provided link, again, it maybe due to processing. In order to avoid accruing late fees, it is recommended that you send in your payment and copy of the citation.

Payments may be made through the mail. Remit payment to the agency listed on the Original Parking Citation or on the Notice of Illegal Parking. Pay by Check or Money Order only, do not send cash.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and will work towards getting this process more streamlined. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

If you wish you to check if any late fees have accrued on your parking penalty you must contact the Citation Processing Center at 1-877-237-3076, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding holidays.

If you believe that the parking citation was issued in error you may contest the citation. You have twenty-one (21) days from the date the citation was issued, or within fourteen (14) days from the date the Notice of Illegal Parking was mailed to you. Failure to contest the citation in the required time frame will result in you losing all rights to further contest the citation. You may download the Parking Citation Initial Review form and mail it to the Turlock Police Department, or appear in person at the Turlock Police Department, 900 North Palm Street, Monday through Friday during regular business hours to submit and/or fill out this form. Questions maybe directed to the Records Division at (209) 668-5550 extension 6600.
