We received eight calls from citizens of shots fired with officers in the parking lot of the Police Department confirming they heard the shots also. Officers responded to several areas, trying to track down the shots. Shell casings were located on Wolfe, but no one was around. A possible related vehicle was described as an older blue or tan Olds Cutlass. Nothing further.

Cornelio Torres (30yrs) and another subject were stopped on their bikes for traffic related violations. Torres hid from the officer for a short time, but eventually stepped out from behind some trash cans. The second subject was on probation while Torres was on parole. Officers located a bindle of meth on Torres and 11 more bindles and cash on the ground where Torres had been hiding. Torres was booked.
