The Regulatory Affairs Division of the City of Turlock’s Municipal Services Department focuses on education efforts to encourage responsible stewardship of environmental resources. The division pursues this goal through informational materials, school & public outreach programs and various community events held throughout the year. The division works hand-in-hand with local schools to offer students various activities and programs that teach earth-friendly behaviors and evaluate the environmental impact of campus activities. Other outreach efforts include hosted tours of the water treatment facility for students and community groups, and presentations to local service clubs and organizations.
