The City Land Surveyor is responsible for the review and approval of all parcel maps, subdivision maps, lot line adjustments, abandonment’s, dedications and easements. He also manages the Survey Team and the Public Works Inspection Team.

The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for the review and approval of off site and on-site civil improvements related to parcel maps, subdivision maps and individual parcel developments, and calculates the fees for parcel maps, subdivision maps and establishes charges for landscape, lighting and street maintenance assessment districts.


The office staff responsibilities include the receiving of parcel maps, lot line adjustments, and abandonment applications. They will check applications and improvement plan submittals for completeness; handle the fees associated with these; and will be your contacts for checking the status of your submittals. If you have questions regarding submittals, please call prior to submitting as incomplete packages will not be accepted.
